Very nice article on the whole, explained things well, and all of the content is easy to relate to. Although im not sure why soldiers are more meta then demo-men. I thought demo-men had an extremely important team role, and in order to be able to fullfill that, they need to be able to do most of what soldiers do (except pocketing), and more, with respects to meta. I'm not saying demo-man requires less skill then soldier (i think its quite the opposite, i suck as demo-man), but i'm saying the balance between skill and meta is more oriented towards skill for soldier and slightly more towards meta for demoman.
Yeah demo is an iffy one. He is unique in that he requires both immense skill and meta, and IMO would feature quite highly on either end of the spectrum.

ReplyDeleteTo make demos even more iffy is that the many demos just spam crap everywhere and that requires neither skill nor meta.
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Agreed.
ReplyDeleteEngineer and Sniper are at opposite ends of the spectrum, thus scout/utility players are the best all round players evar.
